CHRISTIAN EDUCATIONSunday School "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." -2nd Timothy 2:15 (KJV). Sunday School classes minister the word of God in an intimate setting for members of all ages. CBC study meets each Sunday morning at 9:30am. Join us in Sunday School where we learn more about God's word and how to apply it to our daily lives. The study this third quarter of 2011 is a survey of The Old Testament wisdom literature, as well as an examination of Jesus' teaching on wisdom. We hope to see you on Sunday at 9:30am. Bible Study: Monthly Bible Study is held every other Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. This study ,taught by our Pastor and his designated Christian Education team, is theme-based on the word of God. D. Edwin Johnson Theological Institute-Corinth Campus-Ardmore: A joint partnership between the Dallas Baptist Association and the National Baptist Convention, the primary purpose of the D. Edwin Johnson Theological Institute is to assist in training students for more effective service in their local congregations for Christ and mankind. The Institute offers an academic program where students can earn accredited Associates and Bachelor degrees in Biblical studies and Theology. Corinth Campus is the home of the Institutes’ Ardmore campus. 16 week classes are offered each Spring and Fall semester. |

WOMEN OF THE WORDCorinth has a very active women's mission group composed of women of all ages. The group recently combined three different mission groups into one. Now our young adults, Esther Circle, and senior mission group are all one dynamic group called Women of the Word. The group, lead by Sister Carmen Moore is under the direction of the General Mission lead by Sister Eva Franks. The ladies meet every other Wednesday following prayer meeting to encourage each other, study, witness, and perform mission and outreach ministries. Some of the ministries include visiting elderly, sick, and shut-in members, working at the soup kitchen, hosting the Annual Church Banquet, aiding the youth department with its outreach ministries, and hosting the Annual Father's Day Dinner. This dynamic group of women study spiritual lessons designed to inspire and instruct women of all ages dealing with all aspects of life. Instructors Debra Fields and Joann Moore teach lessons that allow them to bring glory to God. |

YOUTH MINISTRIES.... Taking it to the Streets   At CBC we are committed to the development of our youth in becoming a people who will have an impact on their generation. Our purpose is to equip our children with the tools they need to govern their lives according to God's word. Our vision is one of enthusiasm towards learning of His wonders. Our Objective: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19 Youth Director: Toni Washington Youth President: TyLynn Smith The CBC Campus Youth Mime Ministry has been in existence for more than 10 years. The youth come together in various aspects and age ranges. There is a mixed mime for both young men and young women, as well as an all female mime ministry for girls ages 11 to 18 and there is also a little girls’ mime ministry for girls ages 6 to 10. The youth are encouraged to study God’s word as it pertains to the mime that they have selected to showcase. The counselors that work with each group take pleasure in knowing that their respected groups are not only doing something they enjoy, but are ministering to others while gaining an understanding and appreciation of God’s word. |

MUSIC MINISTRY   "Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing." -Psalm 100:2 (KJV) CBC Music Ministry is dedicated to proclaim Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior through the Gospel of Praise and Worship music. Through song we aim to strengthen and enrich the spiritual life and worship experience of the members, visitors, and friends of Corinth. Senior Choir Rehearsal: Thursday, 7:00pm Youth Choir Rehearsal: Tuesday before the 2nd Sunday, 6:00pm "Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints." -Psalm 149:1 (KJV) VISION is the band ministry at CBC consisting of talented young people with the gift of music in their souls. They enhance our worship services by giving praises to God through instruments.
